A group of my son's friends from Gordon College came over to my house for a get-together, and Stephanie was one of them. This was 2003. Since that time, Stephanie graduated ahead of time from Gordon with honors; married my son, Stephen; had a son; graduated with a Masters Degree from Humboldt State College; had a daughter; and is now a teacher as well.

To say I know Stephanie well is an understatement. Foremost, she is a compassionate human being. She cares for her students deeply, not just scholastically, but about their future lives. When personal issues arise, Stephanie is available to help each and every student. This is so because of her commitment to being the best teacher she can be; student growth and potential is her foremost commitment.
