About Zach
I have experience in tutoring GCSE mathematics and history to family friends, and am now looking to expand my network of students.
During my A Levels, I organised and ran informal workshops for my peers in History, Economics and Philosophy & Ethics to help them with their essay writing.
I tailor my approach to each student, and give friendly and assured advice. I understand the stress and difficulty that comes with facing difficult exams and devote a lot of time and energy to improving the confidence of my students.

I vary my approach depending on the subject. For mathematics my approach is practice-based, this means that I will spend more time developing my students' ability to answer questions themselves, rather than focusing on theory.
For the humanities, my focus is more discussion and writing-based. This is because it is best to developing a student's ability to think flexibly, critically and independently, rather than foster a reliance on memory recall and formulae.
My overarching focus is to develop my students' independence and self-confidence to perform.
