About Alexandra
I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a 1st class Masters degree in chemistry. I am now living back in Staffordshire and looking to start a teacher training course next year. Thus, I am hoping to gain some valuable experience whilst helping students reach their full potential in chemistry and maths, by offering low priced tuition to secondary school students.

With subjects like chemistry and maths it is crucial to understand the basics before you can advance. Once you understand the basics the rest begins to make sense. As a results, my method of teaching would be to concentrate on the basics until the student truly understood the concept, before moving forward. Throughout my studies I frequently set myself quizzes and tests on what I had learnt to help myself remember the information, I believe this is a very efficient way of learning and would take a similar approach when helping others learn.
