About Ethan
I am a student at University of Toronto studying at Rotman commerce to become a Private Equity Analyst. This means I plan to surround myself with numbers and math for the rest of my life and I am deeply passionate about this. Not only did I graduate with flying colors (97 Grade Average) from the famous IB program, but I also have 4 years of tutoring experience with youth. For these reasons, I propose that I am an optimal tutor driven to helping students grow.

Unlike traditional education programs, I focus more on the nuances of WHY and HOW a student was unable to solve a problem. I am strongly against meaningless drilling as I believe an uninterested student is the most unoptimal form of teaching. As the teacher, I take initiative in engaging the student and helping them develop a passion for what they do. Moreover, I am a deeply personal individual which is to say that I adapt my lessons to each and every one of my students depending on their personality types. I specialize in teaching grades 1-8.
