About Saksham
My name is Saksham, and I am a Computer Science student at the University of Toronto with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. I am reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality tutoring in a supportive and professional learning environment.
Through my academic studies and tutoring experience, I have developed a strong understanding of STEM subjects and enjoy helping students overcome challenges, strengthen their understanding, and improve their academic performance. I have experience mentoring students in Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science, working with learners of different ages and abilities while adapting my teaching style to meet each student's individual needs.
I take a patient, structured, and encouraging approach to tutoring. I believe confidence comes from understanding, so I focus on building strong foundations, explaining concepts clearly, and providing plenty of guided practice. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and learn from mistakes in a supportive environment where they feel comfortable and motivated.
I tutor elementary, middle school, and high school students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. **My teaching approach**
I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, goals, and learning style. My focus is on building a strong foundation before gradually introducing more challenging concepts, helping students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and independent thinking. I use clear explanations, practical examples, step-by-step guidance, and targeted practice questions to make complex topics easier to understand. Whether a student needs extra support, wants to improve their grades, or is preparing for exams, I create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
**Lesson structure**
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, with longer sessions available if needed. A typical lesson includes:
* Reviewing previous material and addressing any questions or difficulties
* Explaining new concepts in a clear and structured way
* Working through guided examples and practice problems together
* Checking understanding and identifying areas for improvement
* Providing homework help, revision strategies, or additional practice when requested

I am currently studying Computer Science at university, with a strong academic background in mathematics, science, and computing. I have experience mentoring and supporting students in Math, Science, and Computer Science, and I enjoy helping learners build both their knowledge and confidence. My technical background allows me to explain challenging concepts in a simple and approachable way.
