About Mpumelelo
I am a microbiologist by profession, I graduated tertiary in 2019 with a degree in Biological Sciences. In my years of study, I joined a tutoring company where I worked as a tutor for a good two years. This was where I gained teaching experience and developed love for teaching. I have been tutoring for over 3 years and delivering great service to my students. As much as my lessons are meant to impart academic related knowledge, I make sure to go an extra mile for my students. I also make sure to help my students cultivate different life skills such as communication skills.

The key factor in learning effectively is comfortability. To me as a tutor, it is very much important that my students get comfortable with me and my lessons. First lessons are usually centered around making each of us comfortable, this is achieved by giving students a chance to tell me about themselves and their goal(s) in learning English. This helps me as a tutor to be able to set the curriculum in a way that best fits the student and their needs. I am a South African male, proficient in English and IsiZulu, however, my lessons are all given in English. Moreover, from a typical lesson with me students can expect to take away a handful of knowledge and gain communication skills. Lastly, my lessons are accommodating of all levels of learning, from primary to tertiary level.
