About Imogen
I began learning to play guitar at the age of 7 and it has been a huge source of joy to me. I have taught my mother to play and also helped my brother learn. I write my own songs and have been interviewed on the radio by BBC DJ Gary Crowley. Although I never took any formal grade exams, I am able to play up to a grade 8 standard.

I fell in love with guitar because it meant I was able to play the music I loved. My method would be to first teach both the basics of chords and tabs, and then to use that to play whatever the student wanted! If they gave me a list of songs to play I could work out how best to do this and teach it to them.
