About Drayton
Hello! My name is Drayton Penner and I am currently a student at Mount Royal University. I am currently taking the specialized English honors degree in the Bachelor of Arts. I love to learn, and often in unconventional ways. I believe that an exploration of ideas and methods can make learning more enjoyable and fun if we grow to learn in the ways that make the most sense to us.

I believe in the process of individual adaptation. All students are different and have preferred methods of learning/understanding, many of which have not been discovered yet. That is where I come in. I am a passionate learner that promotes a teaching style focusing on skill development - skills that are largely transferrable to all subjects in school and life. My lessons are dependent on the day/progress of the student, but they always include reflection upon what has been learned from weeks previous and after-class work to maintain what has been learned.
I teach anyone from middle school to early university students.
