About Annabeth
I have helped all three of my neighbors learn to read in English as their third language. I taught them using Robert Munsch books and helping them sound out the words. I am patient and encouraging, as well as kind and humorous.

I'm friendly and encouraging. I have experience in teaching kids to read, even as a second language, and I create a positive and safe learning environment.
If your child is learning to read, I will begin with fun and engaging stories that they will want to read.
If your child is older, I will also help create a more expansive vocabulary and teach proper grammar and punctuation.
I am a second year student at Trent University, majoring in Gender and Social Justice. This is a Bachelor of Arts degree, meaning that I am experienced in essay writing, detailed reading analysis and concept building.
