About Katherine
My name is Katherine and I am a second-year university student studying philosophy, I really enjoyed religious studies at A-Level and wanted to carry on learning more about it. I am planning on doing a master's and possibly a PhD when I have finished my undergraduate degree and am hoping to do a job researching into philosophy after. Some of my favourite topics within the subject are: Soul, mind and body, Greek philosophy, Death and the afterlife and the existence of God.

Having recently done my A-levels I understand how much content needs to be covered and how overwhelming it can be alongside 2 other subjects. I have designed my lessons to teach the basics of each topic with further PowerPoints containing extra reading that I have researched, explained and summarised. I went from a C in my mock exams to getting an A in my A-level exams through shifting my technique of writing and being able to use specific points to back my argument rather than using generalised points or basing my argument off the evaluation I could remember. I like to teach through discussion and having conversations about what points fit better arguing for and against a question as well as explaining how information gathered from extra reading ties in with more basic points can improve answers.
