About Priyesh
I am a hard worker who aspires to help others to get the maximum grade available at their level of studies (A* at A Level and 9 at GCSE). I have recently sat both levels of exams under real circumstances myself, and hence I know how most students feel, and this allows me to reflect upon my performances in these exams and craft a method to prevent mistakes which may have occurred and relay these skills to my students whilst teaching them the content and exam technique of a question. I have a thriving passion for numbers and mathematics in general, and I am a first-year MMath Mathematics student at the University of Southampton, so I am quite fresh with the GCSE and A Level methods used to teach the content at schools.

I know how hard it is to not understand a concept when it is taught to you, especially numerous times by teachers. Hence, my methodologies of teaching mathematics to my students will be different. I will be teaching content and do one or two walked-through examples, and then I shall allow the student to do an example. If they get stuck, I will be giving inventive hints and intuitive methods to solve questions if it is easier than the traditional route if it is helpful. I have strong A Levels and a GCSE in Mathematics, and I have experience of being a tutor by tutoring and teaching friends and family, and as a result, have been able to refine and improve my teaching techniques thus far. My lessons are for GCSE and A Level students studying Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
