About Lorraine
I've been teaching for 4 years now and have grown to love the look on my student's faces when they are excited to learn. I'm an English junky and always have a book in my hand. I started tutoring after my matric ( grade 12), because of financial issues and from then I gained more students and my experience grew.
I think my age also helps me relate to my students and it comforts them in a way. They feel more comfortable telling me what and where the problem is. My students have also greatly improved in their language and literature skills, some obtaining A's and B's.

One thing that I always encourage my student to do is to learn to fall in love with the subject. Its been proven that you learn better when you're enjoying what you're been taught.
To achieve this I explain all the work in an easy to understand method, show pictures and give exciting examples. Its always good to stimulate the imagination and create a comfortable learning environment.
Through this, the student can think of the work on their own and remember it much easier.

Details
The lessons are a total of 1h 15m a day, lesson 30- break 15m- lesson 30m.
Hourly rate: R200.
Lessons are on alternate days: Mon-Wed-Fri, Saturdays at R220 an hour.
Cancellation cost 50% if the student cancels within 24 hours of the lesson.
