About Simi
I’m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor with a strong interest in Maths and the sciences, and I enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects they may find challenging. Through my experience as a school mentor, I have supported students in GCSE and A-level Maths and developed a patient, student-focused approach to teaching.
I want to tutor because I enjoy seeing students have those moments where a difficult topic finally clicks. My aim is to make lessons approachable and encouraging while helping students become more confident, independent and effective learners.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building both understanding and confidence. I first look at how a student approaches questions, identify where they are struggling, and help them develop clearer and more efficient ways of tackling problems.
I combine subject knowledge with exam technique, using practice questions to strengthen understanding, improve accuracy and develop strategies for working effectively under time pressure.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and are adapted to the student’s level and goals. I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths as a school mentor, and can also support younger students with building strong foundations.
I offer GCSE and A-level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, as well as UCAT tutoring.
