About Rayva
I am currently a university student majoring in Philosophy and Political Science at the University of British Columbia. I moved to Vancouver from Toronto around 3 years ago to pursue what I hope
will continue to be a fruitful educational career.
I have a passion for writing especially on the philosophical sub-discipline of 'aesthetics'. I have recently been exploring creative writing with a philosophical grounding and hope to publish my writing in the future.
In my free time, I enjoy relaxing while listening to music and traveling whenever possible!

For elementary level students:
Each student varies and, as such, requires a personalized method of instruction or aid. For young children or ESL learners, I can create a learning strategy revolving around learning through play. This keeps kids engaged while helping them learn in a fun environment.
I can provide general homework help that is assigned to them from school or help with specific courses (mainly English) and help them develop studying habits/strategies, and advance their writing techniques. I prefer to use a combination of using school material as well as outside material as necessary.
For high school students:
I can provide essay/paper help in various topics within the social sciences as well as with English. Whether you need someone to help edit your papers from multiple classes and provide critical feedback or help with a specific course.
The kind of tutoring provided will greatly depend on your personal needs - which we can evaluate together.
