About Abdulmajeed
I grew up in a working-class family that invested heavily in tutoring for me. I’m grateful—but I also saw what was missing: guidance on how to study efficiently and build discipline, not just more hours. I started tutoring to give families what I wish we’d had: clear structure, honest reviews, and steady progress without wasted time. My goal: Help your child hit their target grade and become mostly independent within ~9–12 months where possible. We’ll agree targets with you and your child, review progress each half-term, and taper support as confidence grows.

Method: One-to-one, step-by-step support. We start with a quick check, I show an example, we practise together, then you try it—with calm, clear feedback. Exam-focused using past papers, light weekly goals, and simple routines. Lesson length: 60 minutes, plus a free 15–20 minute debrief for next-step planning and brief parent/student check-ins. Qualifications: Third-year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at the University of Southampton. GCSEs: Grade 9 in Maths; 8s in Sciences. A levels: A* Maths, A Further Maths, B Physics. Who it’s for: GCSE and A-Level Maths students (typically ages 14–17). GCSE Science support available on request.
