About Kyriaki

As a tutor with a strong background in Biomedical Science, I am excited to have the opportunity to help students succeed in their biology studies at basic, GCSE and A levels, and maths at basic and GCSE levels. The human body fascinates me because of its complexity and because of the many ways in which can use science to improve our health and well-being. I have a strong passion for teaching and helping students succeed in their studies. As someone with strong communication skills, I am a great fit for personalising my lessons to each student’s needs and preferences to reach our goal.

About the lesson

What sets me apart is not only my knowledge in the field but also my passion for teaching and mentoring students. I have previous experience of teaching due to past jobs, therefore, I have strong communication skills and a great ability in explaining concepts. As a tutor, I am committed to helping my students develop a deep understanding of biology and maths concepts and principles. I believe in taking a personalised approach to teaching and catering the lessons to the specific requirements and learning styles of my students. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where my students feel safe to ask questions. My students will benefit much from my assistance in helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills which are essential in both their future careers and studies. Additionally, I will collaborate with each student to determine their strengths and weaknesses in order to develop a personalised learning plan that will target any areas in which they need extra help.
