About Nathan
I am a Mathematical Statistics student at the University of Pretoria, with a passion for mathematics, applied and abstract. Tutoring is an opportunity for me to share my passion with others, and unlock countless opportunities for learners in the process. With experience as a private tutor, I understand precisely where learners tend to slip up and fall behind. I focus on preventing those mistakes where I can, and helping learners fix those mistakes when they do happen, so as to not only catch up with, but surpass expectations.

I provide tuition in English and Afrikaans for high school learners at all learning levels. I focus on helping learners comprehend fundamental prerequisites, and master problem solving methods. I am always willing to assist with queries and problems, on and off the clock. My lessons are carefully planned to be concise and further the goals of the learner. I ensure to never move on from a topic until the learner feels sufficiently competent in it, and I always encourage the learner to ask questions or for clarification. I ensure to match my teaching method to the learning style of the student.
