About George
I am a 2nd year student at the University of Nottingham studying Maths and Economics. I already have some experience as a tutor when I taught Maths and all three sciences at GCSE level in a part time job I had whilst in 6th form. This was a job I found particularly rewarding due to the consistent improvements the students I taught showed throughout their time with me.

I strongly believe that understanding a topic well, rather than memorisation, is the key to progressing in a subject and for this reason I focus on providing detailed and in-depth explanations for the material I teach. This proved to be a very effective methodology to have and was something my previous students were grateful for. I try to adopt a friendly attitude towards teaching as I believe a solid rapport is needed to get the best out of my students.
