About Edie

I have a passion for all things science and really enjoy assisting students in overcoming knowledge gaps and improving their confidence, whether that be during Year 9 Science, VCE Biology, or more! During my Bachelor's of Science at the University of Melbourne, I have studied biology, chemistry, neurochemistry, and more at a university level (as well as achieving highly in Biology and Chemistry during VCE). Now that I've graduated - I'm completing an Honours in Biomedicine and Critical Care at the Royal Melbourne Hospital with the University of Melbourne.

About the lesson

Want to smash your exams? Worried about an upcoming test? Want to improve your general achievement and be more confident? I'm here to help! I base my classes on the individual and what type of teaching works best for them. Whilst all of my classes involve giving support for content covered by their school teachers and filling in gaps, I work one on one with each student to ensure that they have a healthy and helpful study routine and techniques to help them succeed. This may include reviewing and working on homework together, reviewing practice exams, re-teaching content, or focusing on specific areas of interest (and more!). My lessons are highly adaptable and focus on ensuring that you meet all of your personal goals!

Edie has been tutoring my daughter for around 6 months, and I have seen some incredible improvements. She is so much more confident and is finally getting the marks that she wants and even more importantly, she is enjoying learning.
