About Jessica
I am a university mathematics student going into teachers college. I have earned scholarships every year of my studies based off of my academic standing. I work as a teaching assistant at my university teaching other students in teachers college strategies to teach math to elementary and high school students. I have coordinated and lead an extra- curricular math program for local students from grades 3-12 for three years. The focus of this program is building/strengthening math skills taught in school as well as exploring new math concepts in a fun way!

My teaching methods vary based on the student. The most important first step is figuring out where the student is currently at as well as where they want to get to in terms of their learning. My strategy is to work with the student to figure out their learning style and adapt lessons to suit the individual learner.
