I strongly believe that an understanding of maths involves not only the student understanding the concepts but the teacher aiming to understand the student's reasoning in order to correct their logic to prevent further mistakes. I would aim to teach for around an hour and a half as this is what I have previously done for my peers when I offered to help them with their maths when they were struggling in their A levels. These lessons are for people in year 12 maths or further maths but can also be in GCSE or lower for understanding of certain concepts.
