About Laura
I am a university student studying third-year History and Criminology at the University of Liverpool. I am passionate about history and have covered a variety of historical time periods during my time at university. I did my A-Levels in History, Religious Studies and Art & Design.
After university, I plan to go into education and become a teacher, teaching History to secondary school students.
I have experience in private in-person tutoring as well as volunteer tutoring with the Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative. In both of these, I taught History and Religious Studies to secondary school students of a variety of abilities and levels.

My teaching methodology focuses on a supportive environment, with an emphasis on formulating a lesson plan based on the student's needs and abilities. Each lesson lasts approximately an hour, however, this can be extended if necessary. My lessons are catered for all secondary school students, from year 7 to year 13. This includes GCSEs and A-Levels.
I have experience in tutoring both privately and with the Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative where I tutored both GCSE and A-Level students in History and Religious Studies.
