About Lexi
I am passionate about teaching because I believe in the transformative power of education. I learnt Chinese from scratch, so I know it can be a daunting language at first. However, with the right approach, it quickly clicks and becomes simple and fun. My goal is to inspire confidence in my students, helping them achieve their full potential. Having navigated the UK iGCSE and A-Level system myself, I understand the challenges students face and am dedicated to providing the support they need to succeed. Teaching allows me to share my love for the Chinese language and culture, making learning both effective and enjoyable.

I offer personalised and engaging Chinese lessons, drawing from my experience in diverse learning and teaching environments.
Techniques and Methodology:
Interactive Learning: Use of multimedia tools, real-life conversations, and interactive exercises.
Customised Lessons: Tailored to student goals, such as exams, conversation skills, or cultural understanding.
Engaging Content: Includes reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities. Finding out what works best for each student, and use those skills to the advantage while improving the next skills.
Continuous Feedback: Regular feedback with a WWW and EBI.
Lesson Length:
Typically 60 to 90 minutes.
Qualifications and Experience:
BA in Chinese and South East Pacific Studies.
ChengChi University Taipei, Taiwan in Intensive Chinese course.
Two years of teaching experience.
Extremely familiar with the UK GCSE and iGCSE and A-Level system, having been through it myself.
Target Audience:
Suitable for students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to A-Level.
