About Walter
I am a senior lecturer at the University, so in terms of professionalism, I deal with thousands of students every year, which is demanding but awesome at the same time. I have published many research papers and I am professionally linked with many scientists all over the world, so I can also advise\suggest\tutor on careers in and outside academia.

I like listening to students' wishes and needs, and to tailor the learning around their qualities; some are visual learners, some like reading, some like listening. It is important to introduce a fun element in learning too because it boosts engagement. To teach, I use a method that I developed based on 3 pillars that I will disclose to students when we have the pleasure to work together. I am a lecturer at the university and work also for the Royal Society of Biology, so teaching and communication are at the core of my work. I can support A-levels and undergraduates. Lessons should be an hour, and the format is generally based on formal teaching and workshop-style learning to stimulate students' active participation and empower them to be independent and flexible.
