About Michael
I returned to education in my late 20’s to pursue a career in education. I had a passion for chemistry and pursued a degree in Medicinal Chemistry at QUB. Following this I moved to the US to obtain my Masters degree and PhD in Organic Chemistry.
I have been teaching university level courses since 2017 and I am currently the instructor of advanced organic chemistry at the University of Missouri Saint Louis.
Teaching and education are my passions and I love helping students achieve their full potential in chemistry.

I will ask students to send the topics / areas of concern in advance and then I will prepare appropriate lessons / worksheets / PowerPoints or other materials necessary to help strengthen the students understanding of the topic(s).
My teaching style is student focused and will be flexible around the needs and wants of the student. I am experienced teaching for many learning styles and want to ensure the student realizes their goals with my help.
