About Hamza
I am Hamza Jivan and I am a senior at Michael E. DeBakey High School, a top 50 high school in the United States. I will be graduating this June and going to the University of Houston Honors College. I am also a 4.0 GPA student with well over 60 volunteering hours dedicated to tutoring. One of the reasons as to why I tutor is because if I was in a tough academic situation, then I would want someone to help me as well.

First of all, I ensure that the concepts I tutor make logical sense to the students. This allows them to grasp the topic faster and efficiently. Following this, I give students random questions on the topic to see if they understood the topic. One of the best ways that I ensure that the students understood the topic is by telling to teach me the topic. If a person can teach a topic, then they understood it. I also provide practice questions for further review.
