About Samuel
I am an experienced tutor specializing in VCE chemistry and biology (Yr 11-12) who has been tutoring the subjects for over 4 years. I completed a Bachelor of Science degree focusing on chemistry and biology, including a research project investigating phytochemical extraction from the black cumin plant. I received high distinction in almost all subjects undertaken as well as three Executive Deans Awards for outstanding academic performance.
At the moment, I am studying Master of Teaching at Monash University in Primary and Secondary education, with chemistry as my secondary teaching method. This has helped me gain a knowledge of effective teaching pedagogies and strategies that I have used in my tutoring.
My students have consistently shown improvements in their marks at school and my tutoring has contributed to them being able to get into their desired university courses. I am passionate about seeing students progress in their understanding, develop better study skills and habits and overall reach higher academic achievements.

- Working through example questions and calculations in a step-by-step fashion
- Revision for SACS and exams using a variety of resources
