About Chris
Having undertaken thousands of hours of university education in a variety of languages—including Latin, the direct ancestor of French—I am confident in my ability to provide the highest quality French language instruction at any level. I have been tutoring languages consistently for several months now and my students have expressed appreciation for my professionalism, methodology, patience, attention to detail, and breadth of knowledge.

For my lessons, I prepare teaching materials in advance in which extensive research about the topic of the lesson is organized in a logical and digestible form. Once the information in these materials is fully imparted to the student, I typically have the student perform translation exercises from memory in order to identify what information the student can recall as well as what information needs to be either reiterated, explained more thoroughly, or even explained in a different way. This approach is appropriate for all levels of French learning and has delivered proven results for my students, significantly decreasing the time required for them to reliably recall and comprehend difficult vocabulary and concepts, particularly those with which learners of French tend to struggle most.
