About Madison
I am a recent university graduate holding a Bachelors Degree in English with honours. I tutored both privately, as well as through the university during my five years of study. On average, I was able to help my students bring up their grades by a full letter (around a 20% increase) over the course of a semester. Additionally, having studied in North America, I can offer my students a fresh and unique teaching style

I am able to tutor students across all ages, and backgrounds--including those for who English is not their first language. Although I specialize in university-level tutoring, I have experience tutoring students from a variety of age groups. MY style of tutoring is very much student-based. I think it is important, as a tutor, to find out how your student best retains information and work within those parameters. In my opinion, communication is key. As your tutor, not only do I need to know what helps you learn but also, and sometimes more importantly, what does not. Only then can we tackle your learning as a team.
