About Megan
I am a graduate in Philosophy and have also worked in education post university. I worked as a student mentor throughout my time at University in the UK and found it incredibly rewarding. Seeing the impact that a 1-1 tutoring relationship had on my students was astounding. I love being able to share my expertise with others and help them on their educational journey, as well as help them to raise self-confidence in their academic ability. I believe this is one of the key things holding people back in their educational career, and is the reason I am passionate about creating a positive mindset in my students.

Student individuality is crucial in my tutoring approach. I always consider the individual ability, need and potential of a student when designing sessions. I take an informal approach and empower students to discover answers for themselves, creatively. I always want my students to leave a session having learned something new but also try to leave them with some thoughts to challenge them further.
