About Maanasa
Hi, I’m Maanasa. I’m a university graduate and incoming medical student with a score of 36 on the ACT English section.
Since then, I’ve spent a lot of time developing strong skills in grammar and standardized test-taking through classes, essay writing for med school applications, and even the MCAT.
I understand that ACT English can feel confusing because of the number of rules and exceptions, but together, we can tailor each session to fit your needs.

I focus on helping students improve quickly by combining grammar rules with practical test-taking strategies. For ACT English in particular, I break down recurring question types so students can recognize patterns.
A typical lesson is flexible based on the student’s needs. We can start with a short diagnostic or review previous mistakes. Then we can focus on a specific concept, such as comma usage or verb agreement. Then we can work through real ACT-style questions together. We will learn how to eliminate wrong answers and choose the most concise, correct option. I also assign practice assignments between sessions to reinforce skills.
As an incoming medical student, I’ve developed strong test-taking and study strategies that I can pass on to other students.
My lessons are best suited for high school students preparing for the ACT, as well as students who want to strengthen their grammar fundamentals.
