About Zhen
I am a first-year university student currently studying (online) looking to make some money before heading off overseas! Although I am from Malaysia, I lived in China most of my life before coming back to Penang 3 years. I did the IGCSE and IB syllabi during high school, and got relatively good grades for both (6 A*s 4 As and a 41 for the IB Diploma), so I wish to extend my help to younger middle school students for a reasonable price. I have taught kids before as a part of a community service program, and I hope to put my skills to good use with your child as well.

I like building a close relationship with my students and keeping in close contact with them, because I believe a good teacher should not only know what a student needs content-wise, but also any other academic/school-based concerns they have. On my teaching style, I like to break what I am teaching down into small, understandable pieces that are easy to understand. As a former high school student, I know what teachers like to see and vice versa, and I will try and help my students understand this as well.
