About Sydney
As a graduate of the University of Colorado Anschutz with a Master’s in Biomedical Science and Biotechnology, I am deeply passionate about biology and committed to sharing that passion with others. With over ten years of experience in this field, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world insight into every lesson. I believe teaching is a powerful way to pass on what I’ve learned, and I strive to create a supportive, engaging environment where students can grow their understanding and confidence. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop lasting skills they can carry forward in their academic journey.

I like to begin each biology lesson by introducing the big-picture concept first. Then, I break the topic down into clear, detailed explanations to build a strong foundation.
Next, we work through a related problem (either from your class or one I’ve created) to apply what we've learned. You'll have the chance to try it yourself, ask questions, and then we’ll go over the solution together.
I'm flexible and happy to adapt my teaching style to what works best for you. I tutor both high school and college-level students and aim to make biology more understandable and less overwhelming.
