About Umer

I am an offer-holder at University College London and Warwick University, going for a BSc in Maths and MMaths (masters in Maths). Educated at private school as well as grammar school GCSE Results Maths: Grade 9 A** Further Maths GCSE (taken a year early) A* OCR Additional Maths A* English Literature Grade 9 A** Spanish Grade 9 A** English Language Grade 9 A** Geography Grade 9 A** History Grade 9 A** Statistics Grade 9 A** Biology Grade 9 A** Physics Grade 9 A** Chemistry Grade 9 A** A Level: Maths predicted A* Further Maths predicted A* Took part in University of Pennsylvania Coursera course for Multivariable Calculus Tutored students throughout their GCSE maths journey, all predicted A* 3 years of tutoring experience My passion for maths is something I've had for many years and I have had the opportunity to help many people at various stages along their mathematical journey. I am a people person and know how to adjust my teaching style to suit anyone's needs. I can provide real life examples in order that students can fully understand the concept but also how it works in real life. I challenge students where necessary in order to ensure they gain the most out of each session

About the lesson

The way to succeed in English isn't by only memorising quotes but understanding the text and the language used and how it conveys meaning whilst also using historical context to highlight how the piece would have related to audiences of the time. Lessons will be 1hr sessions. 3 years experience tutoring GCSE and Key Stage 3/4 students Lessons are for GCSE, A Level, Key Stages 2/3/4/5
