About Carolina
Though originally born in the United States, I grew up in the Dominican Republic and have been living abroad for over seven years.
English and Spanish are my native languages, and I have had the chance to learn Italian and French as well.
I have taught English as a second language for well over five years and have worked both in classroom settings as well as extracurricular contexts.
In my free time, I love to surf, go for a hike, and read a good book. I'm currently reading 4 3 2 1 by Paul Auster, a mind-bending story about a single man who lives 4 different, parallel lives!

Hi there!
My name is Carolina. I am a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, recently graduated from University College London in Anthropology.
My teaching style is flexible and well suited to individual needs, desires, and objectives. From conversation practice in ESL to targeted help with assignments, my goal is to make you feel excited to learn and encouraged by our progress together. We can tailor the lessons to fit your schedule, though I typically like to spend at least 30-60 minutes with my students. That said, my lessons are open to any and all ages!
Being an Anthropology major, with a minor in English Writing, subjects that fall under English literature, Writing, Reading Comprehension and Languages are my strong suit.
