About Seth
I am a final year Cambridge Masters student in Engineering. I achieved high A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer science at A level. I discovered my love of tutoring in the classroom, always helping my peers and receiving positive feedback. I then moved to online tutoring while studying my undergraduate and have had great success in helping students boost their grade but more importantly their love of learning. I aim to bridge the gap from classroom teaching to real knowledge by focussing on learning techniques, understanding, and exam strategy as well as just covering content.

Sitting over students doing question after question helps for an exam in 2 weeks but not for their future. Demonstrating techniques, discussing subject understanding, and asking thought-provoking questions lead to a love of learning that students can take with them beyond the classroom. I offer relaxed online lessons designed to engage people beyond the textbook so they understand the why not just the what. I have lots of experience tutoring year 12 and 13 students, even helping a student with predicted grades of BCC achieve a final result of AAB. A typical lesson consists of a 1-hour online meeting where we can work through the student weak points by developing understanding before we apply to typical questions.
