About Don
I am a bio-chemistry graduate from the University of Cambridge, previously studying medicine. Currently, I am learning to programme and analyse data for future prospects.
I hope to one day properly go into teaching further into my career, so as to gain experience and fund courses I am tutoring to bridge the gap. Previous experience in supporting university applications, proof reading personal statements and tutoring A-levels have provided the necessary skills to tutor formally. I’ve helped over a dozen students get to university, including but not limited to medical/dental students, oxbridge offers and more.

First session would be to gauge areas of future teaching, tailored in a case-by-case manner, with student specific focus on curriculum progression and appropriate teaching methods.
Lessons will generally combine theoretical understanding with exam practice in accordance with the exam board requirements. This allows for preparation of exams given progression of understanding greater than what is necessary, subject to the students own interest.
The aim is to build a thorough knowledge of exam material sufficiently past the need for solely rote learning, allowing for better exam preparation through understanding as opposed to memory.
Additionally, having previously been offered a place at 3 medical schools (Cambridge, UCL and Imperial) and achieved engineering offers in the same year, alongside extracurricular summer schools during sixth form, I can provide guidance to personal statements, university applications and more.
