About Alex
I am a first Engineering Design student studying at the University of Bristol, and on track for a 1st class degree. I have tutored maths before to a GCSE student and also spent 6 months volunteering to help secondary school students improve their reading.

As someone who often struggled to understand certain topics, I have found ways to explain complicated ideas in simple ways. I'm very patient and completely understand that some ideas take lots of practice to thoroughly get.
I usually discuss what areas have been hard, and then start from the basics. Gradually we'll try questions, and come back to these difficult to understand areas relatively frequently to ensure that they're not forgotten!
