About Jennifer
I am a mathematics student at the University of Auckland, I have previous experience supporting students as a teaching assistant and school tutor, including helping with class materials, homework and exam preparation. I am patient, responsible and good at explaining difficult ideas in a clear and simple way. I can teach in both English and Mandarin, which I can explain mathematical concepts in the language they understand best. I enjoy helping students build confidence, improve their understanding and develop effective problem-solving skills.

I provide patient and personalised maths lessons based on each student’s level, goals and learning style. I explain concepts step by step, use clear examples, and give students guided practice before asking them to solve questions independently. A typical lesson is 60 minutes and may include revision, new concepts, practice questions and homework support. I am a mathematics student at the University of Auckland with experience supporting students in an educational setting. My lessons are suitable for primary, intermediate and high school students, and can be delivered online or in Auckland.
