About Laura
Do you want to apply to university in the UK but don't know which subject?
Do you need help writing your personal statement?
Have you got an interview coming up and want to practice and prepare?
I can support you throughout the whole process of applying to university or just with the step that you personally need.
Depending on subject, I can also tutor at GCSE or A-level if you need.
I did my undergraduate degree at Cambrige University studying Human and Social Sciences (including courses in politics, sociology, international relations, archaeology and anthropology). I then studied for a postgraduate certificate in Healthcare Leadership at the University of Birmingham and then for a postgraduate diploma in Health Policy at Imperial College London, while working for the NHS.
I have supported many young adults with their applications to university for lots of different subjects, and I can do the same for you.
I charge £20 per hour and can offer:
- help chosing which subject and university to apply for
- support to write your personal statement including proof reading
- help to prepare for admissions tests
- interview preparation/practice interviews especially for Oxford and Cambridge
I can offer support face to face in Leeds, or via skype, telephone and email across the UK and internationally.
