About Joey
I am a student at the Technical University of Delft. I am now in my third year of the bachelor Architecture, which I started after I finished my NT profile exams at the RKSG Marianum. On my grade list I ended up with an 8 for mathematics D, an 8 for physics and a 10 for mathematics B. During my years at Marianum I also tutored several students at different levels of mathematics and physics for 8 hours a week.

Technical subjects are difficult for some to understand due to the abstract concepts, theories and formulas. You can come up with all kinds of mnemonics for this, but in the long run it will be necessary to understand the abstract part of it as well. That is why I give as many concrete examples of the theory as possible in my tutoring, preferably something that the student can relate to, so that they can also reproduce it more quickly. In addition, I always like it when the student already comes up with prepared questions, but I also don't mind working on some excercises together with the student, because there is also a lot to learn through repetition!

Joey heeft mij geholpen met wiskunde B. Dit was altijd heel duidelijk en met veel geduld. Ik heb mede dankzij heb mijn examens gehaald :)
Joey en ik kennen elkaar sinds de basisschool en we gingen naar dezelfde middelbare school. Ik had erg veel moeite met wiskunde, maar door Joey’s uitleg werd de stof veel begrijpelijker. Joey probeerde er altijd eerst achter te komen waar bij mij de moeilijkheden zaten om vervolgens op mijn tempo en in begrijpelijke taal samen de stof door te nemen.
