About Marco

Born and raised in London, I have been teaching English for 7 years since leaving the capital. I had a short stint in Asia teaching English before coming to Berlin in 2018. I have worked in several language schools in this vibrant city and met countless people with their own unique language needs. Growing up bilingual has helped me understand the difficulties my students have when learning a new language. The expressions and idioms differ greatly between some languages and have similarities in others. This fascination between cultures really inspired me to pursue a career in this field. Besides teaching, my other passion is sport. When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me somewhere in Berlin trying to achieve a sporting feat beyond my capabilities. Whether it's football, bouldering or running, I'm always up for a good workout.

About the lesson

From my experience, learning a language only works if you enjoy it. That's why my lessons will not only help improve your grammar and vocabulary, but you'll have fun doing it too! My English lessons are as relaxed or intense as they need to be, meaning we can it as informal as you like. Whatever your level (A1-C1), these lessons are tailored to you, meaning we only focus on what's right for you. Whether it's general, business or specific English, each lesson will be unique.

He is very patient as when I keep making the same mistakes he would take the time to correct every time.
