About Sheba

I am a multipotentialite and a visionary, passionate about creative expression. I am both self-taught and a Master of Fine Arts degree holder. I studied 2D/3D animation, video editing, fine art, and graphic design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, from 2006 to 2009. I discovered my love for art at an early age. Since childhood, I’ve known that creativity is my calling from God. I began writing poetry and music and playing the keyboard at age 5. I was a shy kid who broke out of my shell when I discovered art—it gave me a voice. Art and creative expression have been the fluid that nourished my confidence. My art styles can be defined as Abstract Expressionism and Digital Design. I communicate through mixed media, using pen and ink, acrylic, pencil, gouache, charcoal, or whatever I can get my hands on. My work is a reflection of my vividly lucid dreams and lively imagination. In my pieces, you can see linear details that lead to swirls of paint with paths and twists. These free-flowing optical melodies and winding roads take you on a journey filled with whimsy and psychedelic imagery. My abstracted visual representation of the world is a view that is uniquely my own. I infuse my character and personality into my art as a way of speaking my truth.
