About Abi
Hello, my name is Abi. I am a university student with A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, and AS Philosophy. My favourite novel is 'Frankenstein' and my favourite poet is Sylvia Plath. I achieved strong GCSE results ((concealed information)) and my A-Level results were A*AB (the B due to being entirely self taught in chemistry). I received offers from all five of my university choices, including three Russell Group institutions and Imperial College London, which accepts just 12% of applicants.

I’m an A-Level student studying English Literature with a genuine passion for the subject. I have experience tutoring 12–14-year-olds, many of whom were reluctant readers or faced challenges such as dyslexia. My goal is always to inspire a real love for reading, no matter the starting point. Literacy is incredibly important to me, and I take pride in making reading more accessible and enjoyable. I achieved 9s in English Language and Literature at GCSE and an A* in my A-Level mocks. I’m confident in both classic literature and foundational skills like phonics.
