About Joshua
Hello!
My name is Joshua and I'm currently in Melbourne in my third year of the University of Melbourne's post-graduate medical degree. I've been enjoying medicine, but I do miss working with physics and mathematics, and I miss tutoring these subjects even more.
I did my undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia with a Major of Physics and a Minor of Economics. Through this degree, I have become very comfortable with most areas of theoretical physics and of calculus, as well as some degree of confidence with linear algebra.
I also grew up immersed in music and have a passion for music science and theory as well (:

I love sciences because there's always multiple approaches to understanding a concept. If the way you've been taught doesn't click with you, let's keep exploring other ways to approach the problem until we reach your "aha!" moment! Everyone understands sciences a little differently -- I'd love to work with you to figure out how you best understand what you're learning.
Lessons will be from 30-60 minutes.
I have experience in tutoring honors calculus at the undergraduate level, and experience with tutoring all kinds of subjects (of which my favorite ones are sciences and music theory).
My lessons are for anyone in high school or undergraduate classes whether you're struggling to understand what you're learning or seeking a deeper or further understanding of science.
