About Emily
I am currently a freshman at UCSB and am new to the Santa Barbara area, hoping to help students with their school homework and studies. In Los Angeles, where I'm originally from, I had many kids that I tutored weekly, helping with tests and homework.

I first like to go over the confusing/difficult problems that the student had previously solved and explain them step-by-step. I then go on to teach a lesson on that topic, allowing the student to take notes and retain the information even more clearly. Towards the end of our time, I like to give a set of practice problems to have the student do with me and some to do without, on their own.
