About Lydia
I enjoy tutoring as during my school years I also needed a bit of extra support at times but often found tutors and teachers to be intimidating, but want to be a friendly face for students and ensure that they have a safe, judgment free learning space. My ultimate goal is for all of my students to have confidence in themselves and their subject.

As a tutor I start off by having a 1-1 with the pupil in order to understand their strengths / weaknesses, likes / dislikes and create a relationship that will allow for a safe learning space. I typically offer 1 hour sessions, however we can alter this to suit specific needs and get the best results from tutoring! I offer a friendly and supportive approach but will still tutor in a way that brings out full potential. I teach and refresh students of knowledge and I can also provide a bank of exam style questions in order to monitor progression.
I am currently studying geography at The University of Manchester and I completed A-Levels in geography, psychology, and history, obtaining grades A*AA*, respectively.
I can tutor geography up to A-Level and history and psychology up to GCSE stages.
