About William
My name is William Bradley, and I am currently studying a Masters of Mathematics at Durham University.
I am passionate about maths as it has a rigorous structure, built on simple rules, which come together to give us understanding of our universe. I believe this passion will make maths interesting for all students.
In my free time, I enjoy playing rugby and cricket, as well as playing the trombone.

I firmly believe that everyone is capable to excelling in maths. It’s just about finding the right method that works for you. In my lessons, we will:
explore a variety of methods to tackle problems
work through questions together
give learners a chance to ask questions
create a relaxed atmosphere where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process
focus on exam style questions where applicable
My lessons are targeted at exam level students, aged 15-18 and each lesson will last 1 hour.
I spent a year teaching in a high school in Senegal, where I taught hundreds of students preparing for exams. Through this, I am experienced in using a variety of teaching styles and recognise every child has their own way of thinking and learning, and a teacher’s job is to enable them to learn best. I will bring this experience into my lessons, and use it to produce a professional and effective lesson.
