About Emily
I am an undergraduate student at UCSD studying Human Biology. Although this is my first year in college, I am considered a sophomore due to the number of AP credits I earned in high school. I have passed all of my AP tests and earned the AP Scholar with Honors award. Along with this, I graduated in the top one percent of my high school in a class size of 800+ students. While in high school, I earned my certification as a pharmacy technician, placed 4th regionally in the Pharmacy HOSA competition, and formed my own charity group. I have been to two Medical School intensives (one at Johns Hopkins and the other at Standford), was the first chair of my academic decathlon team, was the junior varsity and varsity tennis captain of my 6A school, etc. I have been a private tutor since seventh grade for a variety of subjects, including math, science, ELAR, and the ACT and SAT. I have always been able to work well with my students to ensure their success both academically and in their educational journies.
