About Xylia
Hi! I am Xylia. I am currently a student at Cardiff University and am studying Medicine. I achieved 4As for my A-Levels, in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Economics. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends as well as fencing. I believe the key to success is self-discipline, and that a good work-life balance helps me strive towards my goals.

I am experienced in tutoring Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Economics for A-Level and GCSE students. I believe in building a strong foundation for students to not only memorise content but to understand the mechanisms behind the knowledge. I enjoy watching my students flourish as they grasp the content. I aim to start my lessons with 5 minutes of recap, 40 minutes on knowledge and then the last 15 minutes on topic-specific past paper questions to build upon exam techniques.
